Modern Simplicity

000_2270

I have been enjoying some quiet nights sitting in the rocker, listening to a book on tape,–Ok, that sounds very old lady of me but I am getting back to simpler times–working on a new table runner for Tony’s dresser.  I love how simple it is–no machine required!  I also learned that a band-aid works just as well as some of the fancy thimble like things out there when you need something to protect your stitching finger in a jiffy.  I am working on a larger pattern that will have the same look as this.

I had an exciting email today from…well I can’t reveal that yet, but stay tuned to find out!!!

I’m so glad I’m not the only one listening to books on tape. I love them, I feel like I’m multi tasking my hobbies which make me really happy. Your blog is great!

Just got caught up on your blog. Great stuff. I really enjoyed learning about the gal that wrote that book you’re reading (Made from Scratch). I checked out her blog and the YouTube video. And I think I’ve heard from Mom and Esther what your big secret is. Can’t wait for you to reveal it on the blog!

love the runner for the dresser. I’ve been thinking about making a runner for a dresser too! It really brightens things up.

I also agree about organic eggs, and organic food in general. I especially love brown organic eggs. I’m not sure the brown-ness is any healthier, but it is so aesthetically pleasing!
