July 1st, 2008 IngridBarlow No comments

The newest quilt pattern release!  This is a great one for all you young ladies that are just waiting to try your hand at quilting.  It is so easy and it goes together fast.  Don’t worry about having a fancy sewing machine–the oldest, most simple machines will do!  You can be totally mod or more old fashioned…whatever mood you are wanting to snuggle up in.  I must warn you though…quilting is very addicting!!!

A little woodsy creature pillow, inspired by one of my childhood drawings.  I love the simplicity!  I’m thinking this little porcupine needs some other animal friends, so check back for more ideas!

A little birthday something for my sister-in-law, Esther. It’s a simple apron design of mine, but includes a couple very necessary items–a good sized pocket for the cell phone and a loop to hang a towel through so you always have a convenient place to wipe your hands. Maybe looking cute in the kitchen will get you some help with that stack of dishes….maybe.

My favorite dish towels are the old stand by, flour sacks. I was thinking of some embroidery options and decided to give these ones a fresh tweak. Can you imagine what you can do for personalized gifts for friends and your own kitchen! Endless possibilities, my mind gets a little gushy just thinking about it.
