Tony snatched this picture as I loaded my new dishwasher! Wow–I ran my first load last night and it felt fabulous! I paid bills and washed dishes at the same time! Such a multi-tasker! This also shows you the apron I made tonight. Love it! The fabric is by Joel Dewberry–I’ve been drooling over orange lately. The pockets are so handy for the phone and any other this and thats I stick in them. I must say I feel a bit cutish and domestic in it.
I seem to find myself scrambling to figure out what to make for supper more often than I would like. If someone would just tell me what to fix my life would be so much easier! So tonight was not unusual as I stood in the kitchen and pondered what in the world I could whip up in 20 minutes. As the chicken thawed in a hot water bath, I trudged out to the garden. I started digging around and actually came up with a decent meal in the end. Chicken infused with sage, and fresh parsnips and carrots. It doesn’t get much fresher than 10 steps out the back door. Here’s to the home garden! 
In other news…Tony is installing a dishwasher for me! What will I do with all my free time?? hmmm…I can think of a few things. I am so excited! Thank you handsome Mr. Handyman.
